ARTIST STATEMENT
My subject is light and how it translates into atmospheres. Whether it is manifesting in interiors or experienced beneath open skies, I try to grasp the natural world of light emitted by our neighboring celestial bodies, and filtered through our wold, through the process of painting.
BIOGRAPHY
Jessine, born 1993 in Hamburg lives and works in Berlin as a painter, oil being her primary medium.
Recent group exhibitions include HAAM #03 (Hamburg Artists Art Market, Hamburg, 2025), Apartamento (Berlin, 2025), BAAM #10 (Berlin Artists Art Market, Berlin, 2025), Running with Scissors (Berlin, 2026), Stroke Art Fair (Munich, 2026), and BAAM #11 (Berlin Artists Art Market, Berlin, 2026).
